The HipSTAR Flex has been renamed to the hipSTAR Glide. This upgraded version is a multifunctional flipline designed for positioning with a line diameter of 11.5mm. The hipSTAR Glide is a flipline composed of multiple Teufelberger components. The core element is an 11.5mm E2E line. At both ends, a KaraT carabiner is attached to the eyes.
The line features: a glidehitch pulley, an Ocean E2E prusik, and a Prusik Loop Fimble.
The Prusik Loop Fimble combines the classic Sirius prusik cord with a steel thimble. All parts are also available as replacement components. This lanyard is certified to EN358, EN795B, and CEN/TS 16415 standards. Maximum user weight: 150kg.
The HipSTAR Glide is certified for use with the following knots:
